BMW M52TU/M54 DISA Valve O-Ring Replacement Seal

A leaking DISA valve doesn't always mean you need to replace the entire assembly. Our BMW DISA Valve O-Ring Replacement Seal is designed to replace the original seal between the DISA valve and intake manifold on BMW M52TU and M54 engines.

BMW does not offer this DISA valve seal separately. Traditionally, if the original seal deteriorates and begins leaking, replacement of the complete DISA valve may be recommended. We created this replacement O-ring so you can properly reseal your existing DISA valve without purchasing an entirely new assembly.

Over time, the original DISA seal can harden, flatten, crack, or deteriorate from years of heat cycles. This can create an intake vacuum leak, allowing unmetered air to enter the engine and potentially contributing to rough idle, lean conditions, or other drivability problems.

Common Symptoms of a Leaking DISA Seal

A worn or leaking DISA valve seal may contribute to:

Keep in mind that the DISA valve itself can also experience internal mechanical failure. This O-ring is intended to correct a leak between the DISA valve housing and intake manifold and will not repair a damaged DISA flap, shaft, actuator, or internal mechanism.

BMW does not offer the DISA valve sealing O-ring as a separate replacement part, which can leave owners replacing an otherwise functional DISA valve simply because its original seal is leaking.
