Rally Road Compact S54 Oil Pressure Adapter / Distribution Block

Add aftermarket oil pressure sensors, gauges, data logging equipment, or a turbocharger oil feed to your BMW with the Rally Road Compact Oil Distribution Block.

Designed with a shorter overall length than traditional oil distribution blocks, this compact version provides additional clearance in tight engine bays and is particularly well suited for S54-powered BMWs. The compact footprint helps keep sensors and fittings closer to the oil filter housing while providing multiple ports for expanding your oil pressure system.

The adapter mounts directly to the factory oil pressure port on the oil filter housing using a stainless steel banjo bolt. Unlike a rigid adapter, the banjo-style mounting system allows the entire block to be rotated and clocked into the position that provides the best clearance for your specific engine and sensor configuration.

Port Configuration

The Compact Oil Distribution Block provides:

• 2x M12x1.5 Ports
• 1x 1/8" NPT Port

One of the M12x1.5 ports can be used to retain the factory BMW oil pressure switch, while the remaining ports can be configured for components such as:

• Aftermarket oil pressure sensors
• Oil pressure gauges
• Data logging sensors
• Engine management sensors
• Turbocharger oil supply lines

Don't need every port right now? No problem. Unused ports can be sealed with the included plugs and opened later as your setup evolves.

Standard or -4AN Banjo Bolt

The adapter is available with two banjo bolt configurations depending on your application.

Standard Stainless Steel Banjo Bolt
Ideal for naturally aspirated applications where the distribution block is primarily being used for sensors, gauges, or data acquisition.

Optional -4AN Banjo Bolt
Provides a convenient source of pressurized engine oil for a turbocharger oil feed line while retaining the functionality of the distribution block.

This makes the adapter equally useful for naturally aspirated track cars and high-performance forced-induction builds.

*Important: The included 1/8" NPT plug is supplied finger-tight only. Proper thread sealant must be applied and the plug tightened during final installation.

Why Use the Compact Version?

Space around a BMW oil filter housing can disappear quickly once aftermarket sensors, fittings, hoses, and other components are installed.

This is especially true on the S54, where a traditional long distribution block can make sensor placement and clearance more difficult.

The Rally Road Compact Oil Distribution Block reduces the overall length of the assembly while retaining multiple pressure ports. Combined with the clockable banjo fitting, this gives you much greater flexibility when positioning sensors around surrounding engine components.

Ideal for S54 VANOS & Oil Pressure Monitoring

The S54 relies heavily on proper engine oil pressure for both engine lubrication and operation of its high-pressure VANOS system.

For track cars, race cars, and performance-oriented street cars, adding an aftermarket oil pressure sensor can provide valuable information about what's happening inside the lubrication system.

This adapter allows you to add that monitoring equipment without eliminating the factory BMW oil pressure switch.

Important Fitment Note

This adapter installs at the appropriate factory oil pressure switch location. Engine swaps, aftermarket oil filter housings, custom turbo systems, and other modifications can affect available clearance.

Always verify the oil pressure port and surrounding clearance when installing on a modified or engine-swapped vehicle.
