BMW VANOS units contain several small O-rings, PTFE sealing rings, and other components that can be difficult to remove without the proper tools. These precision picks make it easier to get underneath old seals and remove them from their grooves without struggling with screwdrivers or other tools that weren't designed for the job.

The extra length is particularly useful when working inside Single VANOS, Dual VANOS, and other BMW VANOS assemblies, giving you additional reach while maintaining precise control.

Important Installation Tip

When using picks around VANOS pistons, seal grooves, or other machined surfaces, use care not to scratch or gouge the aluminum surfaces. A damaged sealing surface can prevent the new seal from working correctly.
